Play of the day: Irish hooker plays on with broken arm

Irish hooker Rory Best threw himself into a ruck 30 seconds after breaking his arm against the All Blacks last weekend.

Best, who earlier scored Ireland's second try, was forced off the field in the 15th minute, but not before exemplifying the bravery and courage that took the Irish within a whisker of beating the All Blacks.

After breaking his arm in a tackle, Best fought through the pain to quickly rejoin the Irish line and sacrifice his broken body for the cause.

Best underwent surgery on Tuesday morning and he is expected to return to rugby in mid to late January.
