US network to cover Oz V8 races
US network SPEED is sending a full commentary team to cover the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 and Armor All Gold Coast 600. Both events will be broadcast live to 84 million homes across North America. V8 Supercars will race at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas from 2013.
Time is running out for the next batch of youngsters to apply for the FIA Institute Young Driver Excellence Academy, based on our own Elite Academy of Motorsport in Dunedin. Successful applicants, aged 17-23, will be tutored by ex-Formula One driver Alex Wurz, alongside Robert Reid, former world rally champion.
