CUNNINGHAM OFF TO US
Kart turned open wheeler driver Mitch Cunningham heads back to the US next week to prepare for a drive in the 2008 Indy Pro Series. Kiwi Cunningham, the 21-year-old brother of 2003 World Karting Champion and 2005 Indy Pro Series champion Wade Cunningham, has concluded a deal to drive in the four double-header "road course" rounds of the 2008 series as part of the Brian Stewart Racing team.

Petulant F1 driver Fernando Alonso appears to be set to throw his toys out of the pram again. The two-time champion, after a disappointing start to this season, has said he can leave Renault at the end of the year if he wants. Alonso has his eyes on the best car and at present that would appear to be Ferrari.
