Eight gold medals are up for grabs on day four of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
Kiwi speedskater Peter Michael is back on the ice tonight after finishing fourth in the 5000m on Sunday. Michael will race in the 1500m at the Gangneung Oval after midnight.
In other events the men's and women's finals of the cross-country skiing classic style take place while the female snowboarders compete in the halfpipe final. Also Canada take on Switzerland in the mixed doubles curling final.
Kiwis in action: When and where to watch
Rakai Tait
• Snowboard half pipe qualification, Pheonix Park, from 5pm on Sky Channel 55.
The 19-year-old is competing at his first Winter Olympics. He represented New Zealand at the 2016 Youth Olympic Winter Games where he finished sixth in halfpipe and 13th in slopestyle.
Tait resides in Eagle, Colorado but also spent part of his early life in Hawaii and Switzerland. He has a New Zealand parent. He finished 20th at the World Cup event in Cardrona last year and 17th at the most recent event in Aspen.

Peter Michael, Reyon Kay
• Men's 1500m Speed Skating, Gangneung Oval, from 11.55pm on Sky Channel 58.
Michael finished fourth in the 5000 metre event on Sunday, just 2.46 seconds outside of the podium. Considering he was tipped to finish eighth, Michael's performance was an extremely strong one, but the mulleted Kiwi just missed out on being the second New Zealander to win a medal at the Winter Olympics.
He was 13th at the world championships at the same venue last year at this distance. Michael has a career best of 1:44.96 in the shorter distance, the Olympic record set in 2002 in 1:43.95.
Fellow Kiwi Reyon Kay will also race in the event but his hopes lie in the team pursuit in terms of medal chances in Korea. Kay will be in the fourth pair to race while Michael will take part in the ninth pair. 35 skaters have entered the event with defending Olympic champion Zbigniew Brodka of Poland and Sochi silver medalist Koen Verweij strong chances to get back on the podium.
