Winter Olympics Day 13: Kiwis in action - All you need to know

Is today the day New Zealand finally win a second Winter Olympic medal? Will we win multiple medals?

Four Kiwis are taking part in finals today in PyeongChang, first up is the teenager Zoi Sadowski-Synnott before three New Zealanders look to impress the judges in the freeski halfpipe final.

Overall 10 gold medals with be handed out today. One of the highlights of day 13 will be the women's ice hockey final between rivals USA and Canada.

Snowboard Big Air Women's Final at Phoenix Snow Park from 1.25pm on Sky Channel 54.

Sadowski-Synnott qualified fifth best in the Big Air qualification series on Monday. Bad weather has been forecast for tomorrow, so the women's Big Air has been brought forward to today. The final, which has three runs to produce a winning score, will start at 1.30pm (NZT).

Three New Zealanders in an Olympic final, could that mean three New Zealand medal.

Byron Wells qualified fourth best, and brother Beau-James fifth, with 16-year-old Nico Porteous squeezing into the final by finishing 11th.

So he will go off second today, with Beau-James Wells eighth and Byron ninth on the startline in the final, which is also over the best of three runs.

It will be a big day in Wanaka too - Sadowski-Synnott and the Wells brothers are from the southern town. Porteous is from Christchurch.
