Rio Olympics 2016: What's coming up tonight

New Zealand have been stranded on two medals for more than two days but that 'drought' is set to end early tomorrow morning.

The men's pair final featuring Hamish Bond and Eric Murray should bring the Kiwi team's first gold medal of the 2016 Olympics, with the defending champions the warmest of favourites to end up on top of the podium.

And that might not be the end of New Zealand's success on the lake, with the men's lightweight four also a chance of snatching a medal.

Elsewhere on day six in Rio, Danny Lee and Ryan Fox will kick off the Kiwi involvement on the gold course, while Luuka Jones is an outside chance of winning a medal in the canoe slalom.

And all eyes will be on the velodrome tomorrow morning when the highly-rated men's sprint team will be hopeful of grabbing gold.
