Golf: Ryan Fox makes strong start at season finale

New Zealand golfer Ryan Fox has made a strong start to the European Challenge Tour finale in Oman.

Fox has carded a first round four-under par 68 to be tied for fifth, two shots off the lead.

Fox is third on the money list as he chases the order of merit title.

His main rival England's Jordan Smith is also level with Fox on four-under.
