The Dragons were toothless in attack last Saturday, going down 12-0 to Cronulla at Toyota Stadium.
However, Fien, who will return to action after an ankle injury that has sidelined him since the win over Wests Tigers in round three, said there had been no inquest about what went wrong against the Sharks.
"It's business as usual," he said.
"We've come off not our best performance this week and we're looking to turn it around.
"I think it was more our execution that let us down on the night and that's what we've worked on more this week, getting that right."
Fien's return and the good form of Mitch Rein had led to speculation young rake Cameron King would leave the club to reunite with Bennett at Newcastle.
But King put paid to any discussion about him leaving by signing a new three-year deal and Fien said he was delighted to see the 20-year-old commit his future to the Red V for a further three years.
"Kingy would have been involved in the last few weeks had he not broken his thumb, and it's good that he wants to stay with the club," Fien said. "He's a good young kid - he's just got to knuckle down now.
"He's had a few injuries at the start of his career so I guess it is about him getting his head around that and coming back bigger and better."
The Dragons also announced the signing of highly rated Cronulla back-rower Tyson Frizell. The Wales international impressed during last year's Four Nations campaign and joins the club on a two-year deal from next year.
