Former NRL player Valentine Holmes has been given an NFL deal.
The ex-Kangaroo has been offered a one year contract by the New York Jets as part of an expansion of the International Player Pathway program.
He will go straight into the Jets training squad and will be available toplay in their four pre-season games. If he excels, he'll win a spot on the 53-man roster.
We've added Valentine Holmes as part of the @NFL's International Player Pathway program.
The three other international players in this year's program are former England and Lions rugby player Christian Wade, who will play with the Bills; Durval Neto, who played DT for four seasons of American football in Brazil and will join the Dolphins; and Jakob Johnson, a former University of Tennessee TE and German Football League player who will become a Patriot.
Wade scored 82 tries in 132 matches, ranking him third highest in Premiership history, but he only managed one test cap for one England and one mid-week outing with the Lions before falling out of favour.
