The Jacksonville Jaguars kept their playoff run very much in tact on Monday (NZ time) when they beat the Seattle Seahawks 30-24.
However, the win won't be remembered for their play - it'll be remembered for Seahwaks defensive end Quinton Jefferson trying to get into the stands to confront Jacksonvillefans.
The 24-year-old was ejected late in the game and the home fans let him hear it as he headed up the tunnel. But when the projectiles flew toward his head, Jefferson turned his attention to the crowd.
After jawing back and forth with a few Jacksonville fans, Jefferson had to be restrained as he tried to climb the barrier between the pitch and the stands.

Jefferson was one of two Seahawks to be ejected late in the match as frustrations boiled over.
The match was still in reach for the Seahawks with the Jaguars looking at a 3rd and 11 to seal the win. And after a 13-yard gain from running back Leonard Fournette meant quarterback Blake Bortles crun out the clock, the Seahawks' defensive line snapped.
Seattle defensive end Michael Bennett ignited the fiasco when he rolled onto the leg of Jaguars offensive lineman Brandon Linder.
Seattle defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson was ejected for throwing a punch in the ensuing skirmish and Bennett was flagged for unnecessary roughness.

In the following play, Jefferson attempted to jar the ball loose and was also ejected.
The loss means Seattle fall outside of the playoff spots with three matches to play, while the result lifts the Jaguars to the top of the AFC South division which sees them currently hold the No.3 seed in the conference.
