Jarryd Hayne has had a quiet game in his third preseason hit-out as the San Francisco 49ers were defeated 19-12 by the Denver Broncos today.
Hayne had two rushes for no gain, but had an 18-yard reception and a 12 yard punt return after entering in the second half.
The
former NRL star also had two kickoffs sail over his head out of the in-goal, and two passes to him from back-up quarterback Blaine Gabbert ended up off the mark.
The 49ers take on the San Diego Chargers in their final pre-season game next week, after which their roster will be cut to 53 players before their NFL season opener against the Minnesota Vikings.
