An American college football coach was left red-faced after a Freudian slip revealed more than anyone wanted to know about his relationship with his wife.
Coach Bret Bielema was so excited about the Arkansas Razorbacks close 53-52 overtime win over the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday night (US time), hedelivered an embarrassing faux-pas at a post-match press conference.
"I'm just looking forward to hopping on the wife," he announced to the room full of journalists.
He soon realised his mistake and quickly attempted to correct himself. "Hopping on a plane ... hopping on a plane with my wife.
However, Bielema clearly saw the funny side of things and joined in the laughter from the audience.
And it's not the first time football has put Bielema in the mood for love - last year, he described his side's 31-7 Texas Bowl win against Texas as "borderline erotic".
