Ever wondered what really goes down in a Blues training session?
A new ground-breaking virtual reality tour - called "We're Sending You In" - is set to give fans the opportunity to experience a Blues training session alongside some of their rugby heroes.
The tour is the first virtual reality experience of its kind for any New Zealand sports team, offering viewers a front row seat at a Blues team talk and training session, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at their Auckland training facilities.
Blues Chief Executive Officer Michael Redman said the initiative played a key role in helping foster the next generation of rugby talent.
"If we could, we'd love to give every fan the chance to sit in on a training session," Redman said. "This is the next best thing – which is why we jumped at the chance to be involved."
Tonight saw the first fans in the country take the virtual reality tour, as part of an ultimate 'at-home' stadium experience to watch the Blues take on the Highlanders.
Fans can experience "We're Sending You In" for themselves as part of the Skill Zone at every Blues home game throughout the 2019 Super Rugby season.
