Watch: Kid storms off football pitch in tantrum

It's scary standing in front of 50,000 people.

For one young football fan, it was all a little bit too much as he burst into tears and ran off the field during a Europa League match yesterday.

FC Steaua București and Villarreal walked out in their Group L match accompanied by a small contingent of children, as is the norm in UEFA matches.

However, when the teams lined up, one boy was visibly distressed and was not having a bar of the national anthems.

Instead, he stormed off the scene leaving his corresponding player feeling rather barren.

An understandable action considering his team, FC Steaua București, are yet to win a game in the Europa League and sit last in their group.
