Most cricketers struggle to bowl at more than 140kmh with their strongest arm, let alone both.
Young Pakistani bowler Yasir Jan has stunned the cricket world with footage of him sending down thunderbolts with his left and right arms after he turned up at talent
trials hosted by Pakistan Super League side Lahore Qalandars.
Yasir told Pakistani outlet Geo News - which described him as "Wasim Akram and Brett Lee rolled into one" - that imitation is a key to his success.
"I have practised bowling with both left and right arm all my life, I try to imitate every bowler I see," he said.
Former Pakistan fast bowler and current director of cricket operations at Lahore, Aaqib Javed, liked what he saw in Yasir.
"This is the first time I have seen a bowler who can bowl fast with both arms," Aaqib told Geo News. But just as someone who is able to bowl spin and pace, Yasir would have to alert the umpire before switching from one arm to the other, so the element of surprise would be nullified.
