Kiwi tennis player Michael Venus's rich vein of form has continued on the ATP doubles circuit.

Venus and Croatian Mate Pavic have won their third title of the year.

The duo have beaten Israel's Jonathan Erlich and Britain's Colin Fleming 6-2, 6-3 in the final of the Marseille Open, to follow tournament wins in Montpellier and Auckland's ASB Classic.

Venus will rise to a career high ranking inside the world's top 40 this week.

He faces a long trip to Mexico to play in Acapulco where he and Pavic face the same pair in the first round this week.
