A racehorse has gone to new extremes to take down a rival, lunging out and biting a competitor.
Majaska sunk its teeth into Arise Augustus as both horses approached the finishing post during a race in Sydney on Friday night.
Jockey Tye Angland said he had a feeling Majaska was in an aggressive mood.
"He came out [of the barriers] and I could tell straight away he was in the mood.

"He meant it as well. He was off all fours and really wanted to get at him."
Majaska finished third in the race, just behind its victim Arise Augustus.
