Danny Lee's promising start to the 2016 PGA Tour season has continued.
Lee is in a tie for 12th at the Sony Open in Hawaii, following up from a 15th-placed finish in the PGA Tour season opener.
The 25-year-old carded a second consecutive four-under round of 66 to be at eight-under for the tournament, four shots behind leader Brandt Snedeker.
He shot six birdies and two bogies in his round, with a blemish-free 32 on the back nine culminating with a birdie to cap off another fine display.
Fellow Kiwi Tim Wilkinson also made the cut after a second round one-under 69.
Wilkinson - who briefly led the tournament during the first round, is in a tie for 47th at four-under par.
Snedeker leads the tournament by a shot over Kevin Kisner, while Luke Donald and Zach Johnson are amongst a group of four players a shot further back.
