Shot putter Jacko Gill heads a 12-strong New Zealand team to compete at July's world junior athletics championships in Spain.
The current world junior and world youth champion holds 12 age group world records but is keen to eclipse the world record in the 18 and 19 years age group of 22.73m currently held by world senior champion David Storl of Germany.
He's concentrating on this event before heading to compete at the London Olympics.
Three athletes have been named in the women's discus but only two will compete. A decision will be made following the athletes' participation in pre-championship events in Europe.
