Olympic success has meant early selection for Valerie Vili and Nick Willis for the athletics world championships in Germany in August.
Athletics New Zealand confirmed the pair for the meet in Berlin today, on the basis of their Olympic form last year in Beijing.
Vili won the shot put gold medal and Willis secured a bronze in the 1500m.
Vili will be defending her world title won in Japan in 2007 in Berlin.
Willis finished 10th in the 1500m final in Osaka.
