There will be at least one new name in the Silver Ferns team for the January Quad Series.
The team, which will be named later today, will feature a shooter by the name of Maria Folau. The newly married Silver Ferns vice captain, nee Tutaia, has taken on the surnameof her husband, Australian rugby international Israel Folau.
The star shooter's profile was last week updated on the Netball NZ website.
The sporting super couple wed in an intimate ceremony in Australia last month, and later honeymooned in the Maldives.
It was a shortlived break for the pair, with Maria reassembling with the Silver Ferns last week for a five-day selection camp.

It is understood Silver Ferns coach Janine Southby will name a 14-strong squad for the Quad Series tour, which will see the team take on a demanding travel schedule, playing matches in the UK and South Africa.
It will be the last opportunity for the squad to put their hands up for a place in the Commonwealth Games. Southby will name her line-up for the Gold Coast tournament - the Ferns' pinnacle event this year - shortly after the squad returns from South Africa.
The the team will then playing a lead-in series against Jamaica, Malawi and Fiji for the Taini Jamison Trophy in March.
