Southern Steel defender Jane Watson has been added to the Silver Ferns line-up for tomorrow's Quad Series opener as cover for the injured Anna Harrison.
Watson, a member of the NZA side, will link up with the Ferns this morning in preparation for their first match against the England Roses
tomorrow night, after Harrison was ruled out with a calf injury.
A call is yet to be made on Harrison's availabilty for the rest of the series, which also involves matches against South Africa and Australia.
Watson will join three other potential debutants in the test side to face England; Maia Wilson, Storm Purvis and Te Paea Selby-Rickit.
The 26-year-old has been elevated to the New Zealand line-up despite not initially being selected in the wider Silver Ferns squad. She has now been added to the contracted squad.
