Coach Ruth Aitken has retained the same Silver Ferns netball squad which drew the recent Australian series for next month's three-test series against England.
The Silver Ferns bounced back to beat Australia 38-31 in Auckland last Saturday after losing the first test 53-51 in Christchurch.
The squad is
Paula Griffin, Maria Tutaia, Irene van Dyk, Daneka Wipiiti, Maree Bowden, Joline Henry, Laura Langman (vice-captain), Julie Seymour (captain), Leana de Bruin, Katrina Grant, Sheryl Scanlan and Casey Williams (vice-captain).
The matches against England are on October 13 in Auckland, October 15 in Dunedin and October 18 in Palmerston North.
An NZ A side to play in build-up games against the Silver Ferns and England prior to the test series was also named today.
They are Anna Thompson, Jamilah Gupwell, Jess Tuki, Erika Burgess, Wendy Telfer, Cushla Litchwark, Phillipa Finch, Jodi Tod, Kahurangi Waititi and Hannah Broederlow.
Kate Carpenter and Helen Mahon-Stroud will be the caretaker coaches for this side as NZ A coach Te Aroha Keenan is unavailable for this series.
