Netball: Taurua re-signs as Magic coach

Noeline Taurua has signed on as Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic netball coach for another season.

After guiding the Magic to the play-offs in the opening two years of the ANZ Championship, Taurua has apparently received unanimous support from the board.

The board says Taurua has performed well, despite being confronted with unexpected circumstances, including a pregnancy and untimely injuries.

It says the re-signing "could prove just the tonic needed to spur the Magic to successive grand finals".
