The Canterbury Tactix have made one of the biggest signings in their history, luring shooter Julianna Naoupu to their playing roster for next season.
The Silver Ferns squad member and championship-winning player for the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic returns to her home city to wear the red and blackin 2013.
"We'd talked to her the year before so it's just something that's been bubbling away and a relationship has been fostered over the last 12 months," Tactix chief executive Pete Smith said.
"[It was] after the ANZ finals series that she indicated that she was happy to talk."
Smith also confirmed they had re-signed English International Jo Harten and they were making progress on other players.
