Netball greats Laura Langman and Casey Kopua are set to be named in the 2018-19 Silver Ferns squad today.
Netball New Zealand will name the first team since the Ferns' disastrous Commonwealth Games campaign this afternoon in Auckland with an update on the head coach process.
With former Waikato-Bay ofPlenty Magic coach Noeline Taurua almost certain to be confirmed as the new coach, once her season with the Sunshine Coast Lightning is concluded, the Ferns are poised to welcome back two of their best players.

Taurua has long relationships with both Langman and Kopua, having coached them with the Magic.
Kopua signalled plans to make a shock return to the black dress earlier this month on the condition that Taurua is named coach.

The former captain played her last test for the Ferns in 2015 before announcing her intended international retirement after the birth of her daughter in 2016.
Meanwhile, Langman hasn't been a part of the national side since 2016 after controversially being barred for selection by Netball NZ due to having played in Australia with Taurua's Lightning last year.
In order to justify Langman's selection, the midcourter would need to be signed to a New Zealand domestic side for the 2019 ANZ Premiership and is understood to be working through her options.
