Netball: George uncertain on future following coach's sacking

Temepara George is giving no assurances she will play for the Northern Mystics in next season's ANZ Netball Championship.

Coach Yvonne Willering has been sacked after guiding the team to seventh in the inaugural season.

George has signed a letter of intent to play in 2009, but she now says she is not sure what she will do.

George is a big Willering fan and says the Mystics will return to square one next year without her.

She expects the new coach will have to start all over again, something Willering would have avoided.

George has denied any knowledge of a player revolt in assisting in the removal of Willering.

The former Silver Ferns centre says she is in shock following the sacking.

Former Silver Ferns coach Lyn Gunson has been touted as Willering's possible replacement.
