Netball: Force beat Magic in semifinal

The Northern Force beat Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic 50-42 in a National Bank Cup semifinal at the North Shore Events Centre today.

The win means that the Force will play the defending champion Southern Sting in the final on Friday at Stadium Southland, Invercargill.

The Sting reached the final by beating the Otago Rebels 56-43 in the other semi-final in Invercargill on Friday. It was a revenge match for the Sting, who lost to the Rebels in a round robin match last month.
