Kiwi Mad Mike Whiddett has won the latest round of the Formula Drift Japan at Okuibuki Motor Park.
It was Whiddett's second FD Japan win in his 'JAPBUL' Mazda RX-7.
Whiddett was involved in a crash in the opening battle of the day when a competitor crashed into his car.
Thankfully the damage was cosmetic and he was able to make repairs and continue.
He was the first driver to book a spot in the finals and beat Koujiro Mekuwa in the decider.
The win ensures Whiddett remains in the title fight.
