Motorsport: Tander to start on pole position

Holden driver Garth Tander will start on pole position for this afternoon's second race at the Clipsal 500 V8 Supercar round in Adelaide.

Tander won the opening race yesterday and clocked the quickest qualifying time ahead of Jamie Whincup and Mark Winterbottom.

Shane Van Gisbergen is the best placed of the New Zealanders and will start from eighth on the grid, with Jason Richards 11th and Greg Murphy 12th.
