Motorsport: Murphy stands by claims

Greg Murphy has calmed down, but clearly his long running feud with Marcos Ambrose will carry on.

Murphy and Ambrose have escaped punishment from Sunday's stoush during the V8 classic at Bathurst.

The fiery kiwi is standing by his claims, saying that Ambrose has a huge ego and believes he is always right.

Murphy says Ambrose assumes drivers will back off. He told Radio Sport's Tony Veitch that just because he is not in the running for the championship, that does not mean he will back off in racing.
