Motorsport: Mason off to Japan

Double New Zealand rally champion Richard Mason and co-driver Sara Randall are heading back overseas for more international rallying. This time it is to totally new territory - the world championship round in Japan at the weekend.

They will drive a Subaru Impreza for the Terao Autodoor Team. "The Japanese team have told us that as the car is an older model WRX and virtually standard, they want us to drive for a finish and use this year to build a foundation for the future," said Mason.
