The most successful driver in the history of the World Rally Championship will link-up with Citroen once again in a test day next month.
Sebastien Loeb dominated the WRC from 2004-2012, claiming four drivers' titles and 78 rally wins in an incredible 13-year career.
All of that success came withFrench manufacturer Citroen. Citroen has struggled this year and has proven to be the least competitive of the four manufacturers at the top of rallying.
Loeb, who is competing with sister company Peugeot in the World Rallycross Championship and the Dakar Rally, will spend a day testing the C3 on asphalt ahead of Rally Germany
"With the creation of the PSA Motorsport entity, we can now form a single big team," Loeb told Autosport magazine.
"At the same time as competing in cross-country and the World Rallycross Championship with Peugeot, I can bring my experience to Citroen by testing the C3.
"I can't wait to get back into a World Rally Car and test how the technology has changed in that discipline."
Loeb competed in the World Touring Car Championship with Citroen after finishing his rallying career. When Citroen exited the WTCC he moved to Peugeot and turned his attention to off-road racing.
"I'm still passionate about rallying," added Loeb. "Of all the disciplines I've tried since I retired 5 years ago, it's the sensation of rallying that I love most."
