New Zealand's Josh Coppins ended the world championship motocross season with a podium finish at today's French Grand Prix in Ernee.
Coppins, 26, took third place for the second time since returning from career-threatening injury earlier this year.
It saw him finish 12th overall in the championship.
His CAS Honda CR250R was again
the first two-stroke bike home in a field dominated by four-strokes.
The race was again dominated by Belgium's Stefan Everts who had already secured this world title to take his tally of wins to seven, an all-time record.
Coppins contested second with Honda rider, Denmark's Brian Jorgensen on a CRF450R, as five-times world champion Joel Smets of Belgium slipped to seventh place.
