New Zealand rider Josh Coppins dropped one place to sixth overall in the world MX1 motocross championship despite two strong rides in the Netherlands this morning (NZ time).
Coppins was fourth in the first race of the Grand Prix at Lierop and second in the second.
However, both races werewon by Belgian Ken de Dycker, who leapfrogged the Yamaha rider from Motueka in the series standings.
The leading positions remain unchanged after 14 of 15 rounds, with Italian Antonio Cairoli holding a healthy lead over German Max Nagl.
The final round is in Brazil on September 13.
