A Christchurch Mitre 10 has made fun of the Cricket Australia ball-tampering scandal.

A photo sent to the Herald shows cricket sets being sold with yellow sandpaper.

"Free sheet of sandpaper with every cricket set sold. #kanewouldnever," a sign with the cricket sets reads.

Meanwhile Australian cricket fans expressed their disgrace for their national cricket team, after Cameron Bancroft was caught ball-tampering during the third test against South Africa in Cape Town on Saturday.

As the scandal unravelled, Twitter and Facebook users, however, continued to do what they do best - sharing countless memes to mock to Aussies.

And we've collected the best ones bellow.
