Mens Hockey World Cup schedule released

The pools and schedule for the 2018 Odisha Hockey Mens World Cup in Bhubaneswar has been released by the International Hockey Federation (FIH).

The 16 national men's teams qualified for the event, including the Vantage Black Sticks, now know who they will face in this years pinnacle event from 28 November - 16 December in the eastern Indian city.

New Zealand (world ranking 9th) is joined in Pool A by reigning Olympic champions Argentina (2nd), Spain (8th) and France (18th).

The Kiwis will open their World Cup campaign against France at 7:00pm on Thursday 29th November (local time).
