Levi Sherwood wins first X-Games gold

Kiwi freestyle motocross rider Levi Sherwood has finally claimed his first gold medal at the X-Games.

The Palmerston North rider had previously won three silver medals at the X-Games but he has upgraded to gold with a great performance at the event in Minneapolis.

Sherwood won Moto X Freestyle gold with a best run of 92.33. Australian Josh Sheehan finished second with a run of 90.66, with fellow Aussie Clinton Moore in third.
