Hockey: Black Sticks facing cliffhanger

New Zealand's chances of advancing to the business end of the Sultan Azlan Shah tournament could come down to a penalty stroke off.

The Black Sticks go into their final pool match tonight against the Netherlands equal on points and with the same goals for and against as Pakistan with whom they had an agonising 3-3 draw on Tuesday night.

Pakistan, who snatched a late equaliser against New Zealand, play Argentina tonight.

Depending on the result, New Zealand could get through to the semifinals with a draw against the higher-ranked Dutch.
