Last year: Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy won the season-ending event, capping a historic year in which he won the US PGA Championship and the US PGA Tour and European Tour money titles.

Last week: France's Victor Dubuisson won the Turkish Airlines Open for his first European Tour title, beating Wales' Jamie Donaldson by two strokes. Tiger Woods tied for third.

Notes: Fifty-six players are in the field limited to the top 60 in the money-based Race to Dubai standings. Players were required to play two of three Final Series events leading to the finale to enter. Players who played all three events received a 20 percent points bonus on earnings in those events. ... Henrik Stenson leads the standings with 2,379,194 points, followed by Justin Rose (2,165,726), Graeme McDowell (2,057,394) and Ian Poulter (2,035,288). The points champion will receive $1 million from a $3.75 million bonus pool that counts on the final money list. ... In September, Stenson won the US PGA Tour's season-ending Tour Championship to take the FedEx Cup title and $10 million bonus. ... Greg Norman designed the Earth Course.

Last week: Scott won the Australian PGA at Royal Pines in his first home event since winning the Masters at Augusta National. He beat American Rickie Fowler by four strokes.

Notes: Scott is in the field. He will team with Jason Day for Australia next week in the World Cup, also at Royal Melbourne, then play the Australian Open the following week at Royal Sydney. ... Australia's Jarrod Lyle is returning to play after his second bout with leukemia. ... Matt Kuchar is in the field. He will team with Gary Woodland for the United States in the World Cup. ... Last year: John Huh won the February event for his first US PGA Tour title, parring the eighth hole of a playoff with Robert Allenby. The playoff matched the second-longest in tour history. Huh closed with a 63. Allenby had a double bogey on the final hole of regulation.

Last week: Chris Kirk won the McGladrey Classic at Sea Island in Georgia for his second US PGA Tour title. He beat Briny Baird and Tim Clark by a stroke.
