Lydia Ko has made a solid yet unspectacular start to the second LPGA major of the year.
The world number three has fired an opening round one-under 70 at the KPMG PGA Championship to sit in a tie for 23rd.
Ko bounced back with two birdies on her back nine
after dropping a shot early into the tournament.
Ko is four shots behind leaders Chella Choi and Amy Yang.
Ko finished second at the tournament last year after losing to Canadian Brooke Henderson in a playoff.
