Kiwi golfers Tim Wilkinson and Danny Lee have produced solid performances during the third round of the Crowne Plaza Invitational in Texas on the PGA Tour.
Manawatu's Wilkinson carded a one-under 69 today to move to four-under for the week in a share of 18th place, while Lee shot a
two-under 68 and is in a tie for 37th at two-under.
There's a four-way tie at the top of the leaderboard with Hideki Matsuyama, David Toms, Chad Campbell and Chris Stroud all at seven-under, while a collection of other players are one stroke back at six-under.
Given the congested leaderboard, neither Wilkinson or Lee are out of the reckoning for a top five finish, and a big payday, with the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth proving a challenging course to master.
