Golf: Tataurangi one-shot off lead

New Zealand golfer Phil Tataurangi is one-shot off the lead after a 68 in today's (NZT) opening round of the US Nationwide Tour's Children's Hospital Invitational event in Columbus, Ohio.

Americans Bryce Molder, Bill Lunde, Kelly Grunewald and Dave Schultz jointly lead after each scoring four-under 67s on the Ohio State University Scarlet course.

Tataurangi, whose round included five birdies, was on track for a share of the lead until a bogey at the par-four 18th dropped him out of the leading bunch.

Grant Waite shot an even par 71 to be in a share of 32nd while Brad Iles was in joint 75th after a two-over 73.
