Golf: Romero in by four shots

Argentina's Eduardo Romero sealed the biggest golf title of his career with a four-shot victory at the US Senior Open in Colorado Springs yesterday.

Two strokes ahead of the field overnight, the 54-year-old from Cordoba carded a three-over 73 for a six-under total of 274.

American Fred Funk triple-bogeyed the 13th on his way to a 75 and second place, while Zimbabwe-born Irishman Mark McNulty finished third at one under after closing with a 68.
