Golf: Race for places in NZ Open begins

Regional qualifying events for the New Zealand Open will be held on November 17 at Manor Park club in Wellington, the Christchurch club, Pupuke Golf Club on the North Shore and the Manukau Golf Club.

Thirty players from these events will go on to the final qualifying event, at Manukau on November 27.

A field of up to 144 players is expected for the Open, which starts on November 30 at Gulf Harbour.
