Golf: Play-off for US Women's Open title

World No 1 Annika Sorenstam and American Pat Hurst will face an 18-hole play-off for the US Women's Open golf title today after finishing tied at the top on even-par 284 at Newport Country Club.

The pair finished two shots ahead of 16-year-old Michelle Wie, South Korean Pak Se Ri and American Stacy Prammanasudh.

New Zealander Lynnette Brooky finished last after blowing out yesterday with an 85, leaving on a 27-over-par 311.
