Golf: Nicklaus backs Woods

Jack Nicklaus expects to see Tiger Woods at the Ryder Cup this year. Woods shared fourth at the Masters in April, his first event after a five-month lay-off in the wake of a massively publicised adultery scandal, and has since played poorly in missing a cut and withdrawing with a neck injury.

But Woods is returning this week at the Nicklaus-hosted PGA Memorial. Woods is a lock for the US team that will play in Wales in the eyes of legend Nicklaus.
