Lydia Ko is poised to make a push for another LPGA Tour title, while Ryan Fox is set for a season on the European Tour next year.
Ko is sitting just a shot off the lead after two rounds of the Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship.
Ko has fired a five-underpar second round of 67 to be eight-under overall and just off the pace of Korea's Eun-Hee Ji.
Ko compiled five birdies in her first 12 holes before a birdie at 14 was sandwiched with two bogies. She then birdied the last to sign for the second-best round of the day, and jump up five spots into solo second.
Meanwhile, Ryan Fox has accomplished a big boost for his career.
The Kiwi has all but secured his card on the full European Tour next year after making the cut at the Challenge Tour event in China.
Fox is three-under overall and in a tie for 23rd at the Foshan Open, but by making the cut will remain inside the top 15 in the Order of Merit at the end of the season, qualifying for the top tier next year.
Fox is currently in 10th on the money list despite having only played eight events to date, the lowest amount of anyone in the top 30.
