Danny Lee has fired a one-under 69 in his second round today to be the only New Zealand golfer to make the cut in the Web.com Tour Championship in Florida.
Lee's round, that included four birdies and three bogeys, saw him move to a share of 55th place to justsneak inside the cut line at even-par for the tournament, as his fellow Kiwis, Tim Wilkinson and Steven Alker, missed out.
Wilkinson shot a three-over 73 in his second round to miss the cut by three shots, while Alker carded his second 73 in as many days to be well off the pace.
Alker will now head back to another season on the Web.com Tour. He needed a huge finish in this tournament to claim a PGA Tour card for next season after he finished this year's Web.com Tour campaign in 26th on the money list - one spot off an automatic card.
Wilkinson has his card secured for the big show next season.
American Chesson Hadley leads the Web.com Tour Championship at the Dye's Valley Course at nine-under, two strokes ahead of countryman Joe Durant.
Meanwhile, on the European Tour, Kiwis Mark Brown and Gareth Paddison have both missed the cut at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland.
Brown followed up his disappointing opening day 76 with a with a three-under 69 in his second effort but it wasn't enough to make the cut as he finished seven strokes back from the cut line, which was six-under.
Paddison shot a two-under 70 in his second round but his first-up 75 ensured he was always up against it to make the cut as he finished in the same spot as Brown.
Michael Campbell withdrew from the tournament with an ankle injury during the first round.
