While the focus of the women's golf world is on Lydia Ko, New Zealand's number two is about to hit the big stage.
Liv Cheng will line up in the US Open in California next week, earning a place in her first major after surviving a playoff at a qualifying
tournament.
Cheng says the tournament is a great opportunity to test herself and progress as a golfer.
Cheng says she's been working towards playing in big events.
Cheng will play a practice round with Lydia Ko on Wednesday.
